Janne Andersson will fly Vampire at Flygfesten! Vampire was one of the earliest jet aircraft to be introduced in 1946. It became very popular, with over 4,000 units manufactured. Sweden, Norway, and Finland have all had Vampire in their air forces. Vampire was an exceptionally versatile aircraft that set many records. Among other achievements, it was the first Royal Air Force aircraft to reach a top speed of over 800 km/h. It was also a Vampire that became the first jet aircraft to take off and land on an aircraft carrier. In 1948, a new altitude record was set at 18,119 meters, and later that same year, Vampire became the first jet aircraft to fly across the Atlantic.

Biltema Airshow Norway and Espen Tjetland will fly the P-51 Mustang at Flygfesten! The P-51 Mustang is one of the true classics from World War II. It was built as a fighter, reconnaissance, and bomber aircraft. Its primary role became escorting and defending Allied bombers all the way into Germany and back to England. Of the approximately 16,000 Mustangs that were built, nearly 300 are preserved today, but only just over a hundred are considered airworthy. One of them will be at Flygfesten 2025!

Biltema Airshow Norway and Lars Ness will fly the Supermarine Spitfire at Flygfesten! Biltema's Spitfire was completed when World War II ended and therefore never saw service during the war. It was in storage until 1949 and only saw three years of active service before being retired in 1952. By that time, jet aircraft were the future of the RAF (Royal Air Force) in the UK. In 2005, a comprehensive restoration of Biltema's Spitfire began, which took two years before it was returned to its former glory.
